Community Development Director Fr°lik replied she thinks the residential area is covered, but <br />thc commercial portion could be strengthened. <br /> <br />Cou ncihnember Pearson asked if there has been a problem with the trailers not being moved. <br /> <br />Comn~unity Development Director FrolikrePlied the problem is more with where the trailers <br />are parked and if they are secure when the public is invited into them. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Pearson, to introduce an <br />ordinance to amend City Code Section 9.11 Performance Standards. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Councilmember Elvig requested that staff keep their eye on issues like this. <br />Fie noted it may be easier to bUild a show home in Ramsey where there is a lot of traffic than in <br />a city like Ham Lake where there is a lot of property. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Pr°Tem Zimmerman, Councilmembers Cook, Pearson, <br />Elvig, and l~urak. Voting No: None~ Absent: Mayor Gamec and Councilmember Strommen. <br /> <br />Case #8: <br /> <br />Adopt Ordinance to Establish an Environmental Policy Board; Case of <br />City of Ramsey <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik indicated the ordinance to establish an <br />Environmental Policy Board is now ready for adoption. The EPTF would like to put together a <br />recommendation as far as the number of members and representation on the board. The <br />recommendation would be brought to a January Personnel Committee meeting. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Kurak, seconded by Councilmember Elvig, to adopt Ordinance No. <br />04-48 to amend Chapter 2 (Council, Boards and Commissions) of the Ramsey City Code to <br />establish an Environmental Policy Board). <br /> <br />A roll call vote was performed by the R~ording Secretary: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec: absent <br />Mayor Pro Tem Zimmerman: aye <br />Councilmember Cook: aye <br />Councihnember Elvig: aye <br />Councilmember Kurak: aye <br />Councilmember Pearson: aye <br />Councihnember Strommen: absent <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />City council/December 14, 2004 <br /> ?age 21 of 33 <br /> <br /> <br />
