PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Case#l: Introduce Ordinance to Vacate Drainage and Utility Easement and <br /> Review Registered Land Survey for Administrative Subdivision in <br /> Northfork St. Andrews Addition; Case of North Fork, Inc. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec closed the regular portion of the City Council meeting at 7:27 p.m. in order to <br />conduct a public hearing. <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the public hearing to order at 7:27 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik explained that North Fork, Inc. has applied for an <br />Administrative Subdivision to convey portions of Lots 11 and 12, Block 2, and all of Outlot A, <br />Northfork St. Andrews Addition to the Links Golf Course. The property to be conveyed is <br />regularly used as part of the 17th fairway of the golf course. The conveyance of the land will <br />expand the playable fairway and assure no trespassing onto private property in or around the 17th <br />fairway. In conjunction with Administrative Subdivisions, a routine procedure is to vacate the <br />standard drainage and utility easements on existing common property lines and dedicate <br />replacement drainage and utility easements on what will be the new common property lines. <br />City staff recommends that Council approve the Registered Land Survey for the Administrative <br />Subdivision and introduce an ordinance to vacate the affected drainage and utility easements. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />There was none. <br /> <br />Motion by Councihnember Anderson, seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman, to close the <br />public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Anderson, Zimmerman, <br />Hendriksen, and Kurak. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />The public hearing closed at 7:28 p.m. <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular City Council meeting back to order at 7:28 p.m. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik explained that Administrative Subdivisions are <br />approved at a City staff level and are used for the conveyance of property between adjacent <br /> <br />City Council/July 23, 2002 <br /> Page 6 of 30 <br /> <br /> <br />
