PUBLIC HEARING Case#l: Introduce Ordinance to Vacate Drainage and Utility Easement and Review Registered Land Survey for Administrative Subdivision in Northfork St. Andrews Addition; Case of North Fork, Inc. Mayor Gamec closed the regular portion of the City Council meeting at 7:27 p.m. in order to conduct a public hearing. Public Hearing Mayor Gamec called the public hearing to order at 7:27 p.m. Presentation Community Development Director Frolik explained that North Fork, Inc. has applied for an Administrative Subdivision to convey portions of Lots 11 and 12, Block 2, and all of Outlot A, Northfork St. Andrews Addition to the Links Golf Course. The property to be conveyed is regularly used as part of the 17th fairway of the golf course. The conveyance of the land will expand the playable fairway and assure no trespassing onto private property in or around the 17th fairway. In conjunction with Administrative Subdivisions, a routine procedure is to vacate the standard drainage and utility easements on existing common property lines and dedicate replacement drainage and utility easements on what will be the new common property lines. City staff recommends that Council approve the Registered Land Survey for the Administrative Subdivision and introduce an ordinance to vacate the affected drainage and utility easements. Citizen Input There was none. Motion by Councihnember Anderson, seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman, to close the public hearing. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Anderson, Zimmerman, Hendriksen, and Kurak. Voting No: None. The public hearing closed at 7:28 p.m. Council Business Mayor Gamec called the regular City Council meeting back to order at 7:28 p.m. Community Development Director Frolik explained that Administrative Subdivisions are approved at a City staff level and are used for the conveyance of property between adjacent City Council/July 23, 2002 Page 6 of 30
