CITY COUNCIL
CITY OF RAMSEY
ANOKA COUNTY
STATE OF MINNESOTA

The Ralnsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, August 13, 2002, at the
Ramsey Fire Station Number II, 15050 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota.

Members Present:

Mayor Thomas Gamec
Councilmember Susan E. He explained that his permit from the WMO is going to
be addressed in a few days and they are going to force him into building a 2 1/2-foot dike on his
property and millions of gallons of water be bleached. That process will require a considerable
amount of mitigation of soil as well as kill several trees. The area will be turned into a gravel pit.
He requested that the Council address the issue on a future agenda. There are some alternatives
that could be done by the City. One of those alternatives would be for the City to lease or sell
the adjoining outlot to his property for excavating.

Mayor Gamec inquired if the outlot is considered park property.

Mr. Enstrom replied that he was not sure, but noted that the property is land locked.

City Council/August 13, 2002
