CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, September 11, 2002, at the <br />Rmnsey Fire Station Number II, 15050 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Susan E. Anderson <br />Councilmember Terry Hendriksen <br />Councilmember Patti Kurak <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Principal City Engineer Brian Olson <br />Sergeant Jim Way <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Mark Boos <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:05 p.m. and led in the <br />Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec remembered all the victims of 9-11 and requested that everyone stand in a <br />moment of silence. <br /> <br />Councilmember Anderson read the hymn "When Terror Streaks Through Morning Skys" in <br />honor of the 9-11 victims. <br /> <br />Environmental Task Force Presentation <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec explained that approximately two months ago a committee was created by the <br />Council to discuss environmental issues. <br /> <br />Joe McDilda, 14321 Neon Street NW, Ramsey, stated that he was the Chairman of the <br />Environmental Policy Task Force. He reviewed the Task Force accomplishments to date, what <br /> <br />City Council/September 11, 2002 <br /> Page 2 of 31 <br /> <br /> <br />
