April 20, 2001 <br /> <br />The Honorable Joe Quinn <br />Chief Judge, Tenth Judicial District <br />Anoka County Courthouse <br />325 East Main Street <br />Anoka MN 55303 <br /> <br />Subject: 2000 Activities of the Blaine Charter Commission <br /> <br />Dear Judge Quinn: <br /> <br />The Blaine Charter Commission activities for 2000 are as follows: <br /> January through November: no activity <br /> December activities: <br /> <br /> · The Commission discussed leasing of park land. <br /> <br /> · The Commission discussed their upcoming role in re-districting and decided they <br /> would wait until new data Js received from the census. <br /> <br /> · The Commission reviewed a request from Council to gather feedback whether or <br /> not a municipal primary-election should continue to be held. <br /> <br /> · The Charter Commission reviewed Chapters 1 - 12.
