Storytime with a Cop Wednesday, February 28 at 6:00 pm Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Dr. NW Come join members of the Ramsey Police Department for Storytime with a Cop. A Ramsey police officer will read one of their favorite children's books to the kids. Afterward, kids will have an op- portunity to ask questions and tour a squad car. Presort Standard U.S. Postage PAID Anoka, MN 55303 Permit No. 131 Ramsey Seniors The Ramsey Seniors Club is a communi- ty group that meets regularly on the fourth Thursday of each month, at 12:00 noon, at Ramsey Fire Station #1, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, in Ramsey. Meetings feature a variety of interesting programs, as well as a potluck lunch. The Ramsey Seniors met on October 26. The 17 members present enjoyed a wonderful potluck luncheon followed by a meeting and entertainment. Members of the Ramey Lions Club presented the Seniors with a check for their help with the Pork Chop dinner at the Nowthen Threshing Show in August. The Club then held nominations for 2018 Officers and it was determined that the present Offi- cers will hold their seats next year. The Ramsey Seniors met again on Novem- ber 16. There were 21 members and 2 guests present who enjoyed a wonderful "Thanksgiv- ing Dinner". Afterward, City Councilmember Mark Kuzma, who was the guest speaker, gave an update on what is happening in Ramsey. The club was entertained by Mike Smith who showed slides ofhis trip to Vietnam. The club then collected food and new toys and/or money for Toys for Joy. The Ramsey Seniors Club would like to thank everyone who helps make their meet- ings a success and to remind all seniors that everyone is welcome to attend; you do not have to be a resident of Ramsey.
