Recreational Vehicle Ordinance The City of Ramsey's recreational vehicle ordinance provides reasonable regulations for the operation of snowmobiles, all -terrain vehicles, golf carts, off highway motorcycles and other recre- ational vehicles on public and private property within the City. Snowmobiles may be operated in restricted areas of the City on designated routes, between November 1 and March 31. There must be a minimum of six (6) inches of snow cover on the ground for snowmobile use. The recreational vehicle ordinance also allows the use of ATV's, UTV's and golf carts on City roadways with a permit issued by the City. Per- mits are valid for a maximum term of three years. Recreational vehicles may NOT be operated in the City between the hours of 10:00 pm and 8:00 am Sunday through Friday, and between the hours of 1:00 am and 8:00 am Saturday and Sunday. The City of Ramsey is a snowmobile -friendly com- munity and encourages all operators to drive safely and responsibily. Anoka County Ilk Ga 0 en to tie 1uc Ice Rink Schedule and Closing Guidelines Ice rink and warming house facilities at Ramsey Elementary School (15100 Nowthen Boulevard NW) and Central Park (7925 161st Avenue NW) will open Thursday, December 21. These rinks and warming houses will be open weekdays from 3:30 to 9:00/10:00 pm; Saturdays from 10:00 am to 9:00/10:00 pm; and Sundays from 12:00 noon to 8:00 pm. Rinks and warming houses will be closed if: • Temperatures are 10 degrees below zero or lower, and expected to remain at the same temperature • Attendant may close if weather conditions be- come severe and are expected to remain so • Temperatures are 32 degrees or above Ice rinks will remain open as long as winter weather facilitates good ice conditions.
