WHEREAS, to connect the boardwalk on each end, certain ancillary improvements are <br />required, including; trail segments, signage, handicap accessible improvements, and a parallel <br />parking area along Variolite Street. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br />1) The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract with said bidder for the construction of said improvements for and on behalf of <br />the City of Ramsey. <br />2) The City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders <br />the deposits made with their bids at such time that a contract has been executed. <br />3) City Council hererby authorizes staff to to complete the aforementioned ancillary <br />improvements at a not -to -exceed amount of $20,000 from the Park Trust Fund. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 12th day of February 2018. <br />ATTEST: <br />City Clerk <br />Mayor <br />RESOLUTION #18-038 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />
