Nrth Metro <br />Mayors <br />North Metro Mayors Day at the Capitol <br />Wednesday, March 7, 2018 <br />10:00 AM — 5:30 PM <br />Attendees: NMMA elected officials, city staff, Community Partners <br />NMMA Day at the Capitol packet, including 2018 legislative platform and NMMA fact <br />Materials: sheet, a map of the capitol complex <br />10:00 AM — 3:00 PM Legislative Meetings <br />10-15 minute meetings with NMMA legislators, <br />meeting will be with a mixture of NMMA members <br />3:30 PM — 5:30 PM <br />State Office Building <br />and <br />Minnesota Senate <br />Building <br />NMMA Board of Directors Meeting League of Minnesota <br />Cities Building <br />Additional Notes <br />Meetings: Each legislative appointment will be with an NMMA legislator and a combination of at least <br />two NMMA officials (mayors, city administrators/managers, city council members, Community <br />Partners). Meetings can be arranged by Ewald staff, if they have NMMA members' availability on March <br />7 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. <br />Capitol Tours: Hosted by the Minnesota Historical Society. The tours of the newly renovated capitol <br />building can be set up by request. Tours start at the top of every hour near room 126 of the capitol <br />building, and take roughly 45 minutes. <br />Parking: There are various spots to park on the capitol.complex, including the Dept. of Transportation <br />ramp, the Sears parking lot, street parking, and parking ramps in the surrounding area. <br />Lunch: There are two main places on the capitol complex to get lunch: the Dept. of Transportation <br />building and the basement of the Capitol building.
