Comp Plan Steering Committee <br />Meeting Date: 03/12/2018 <br />By: Tim Gladhill, Community Development <br />Information <br />Title: <br />Review Updated Economic Development Plan <br />Purpose/Background: <br />The purpose of this case is to review an updated draft of the Economic Development Plan. <br />2. 4. <br />Observations/Alternatives: <br />In late 2017, the original draft of the Economic Development Plan was brought forward to the Economic <br />Development Authority (EDA). The EDA then updated long-range economic development vision and goals and <br />focused on a more strategic level. The document was then updated to reflect the new strategic direction as <br />recommended by the EDA. The EDA is currently working on updating content in the Retail Development section of <br />the Plan.
