Development does not warrant the preparation of a full EAW. A copy of said August 3, 2001 <br />correspondence is attached hereto and incorporated herein; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in correspondence dated August 14, 2001, Pro Source Technologies, Inc. <br />stated that they had received information from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources <br />that indicated three occurrences of sightings of Blanding's Turtles more than a half mile from the <br />Development. A copy of said August 14, 2001 correspondence is attached hereto and <br />incorporated herein; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in correspondence dated August 14, 2001, Pro Source Technologies, Inc. <br />recommended that a limited biological survey be conducted to determine the existence of <br />Blanding's Turtles on the subject property and specify mitigation efforts be undertaken to lessen <br />the impact of the Development on any potential Blanding's Turtle habitat. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council, after review of the facts relating to the Development and review of <br />Pro Source Technologies' reports dated August 3, 2001 and August 14, 2001 determines that an <br />Environmental Assessment Worksheet does not have to be conducted in regard to the <br />development known as The Ponds. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Anderson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Kurak <br />Councilmember Anderson <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendrisksen <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #02-02-040 <br /> Page 3 of 4 <br /> <br /> <br />
