Board Member Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #02-09-203 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #0628 RELATING TO A REQUEST <br />FROM ROBERT AND JERALDINE SIBILSKI FOR A VARIANCE TO CONSTRUCT <br />AN ACCESSORY STRUCTURE CLOSER TO THE FRONT PROPERTY LINE THAN <br />THE PRINCIPAL STRUCTURE AT 7240 164th AVENUE N.W. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Robert and Jeraldine Sibilski, hereinafter referred to as "Applicants," have <br />properly applied for a variance from Section 9.11.02 of the Ramsey City Code to construct an <br />accessory structure closer to the front property line than the principal structure on the property <br />generally known as 7240 164th Avenue N.W. and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />That part of the east 518 feet (as measured along the south line) of the Southeast <br />Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 9, Township 32, Range 25, lying <br />south of a line bearing south 89 degrees 14 minutes 32 seconds west from a point <br />in the east line of said Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter 523.3 feet north <br />of the southeast courner thereof, Anoka County, Minnesota. For purposes of this <br />description, the south line of said Southeast Quarter of the southeast Quarter is <br />assumed to bear due east and west. <br /> <br />(Subject Property) <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That the Board of Adjustment conducted a public hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.05 of the <br />Ramsey City Code on September 5, 2002, and that said public hearing was properly <br />advertised, and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated as a part of <br />these findings by reference. <br /> <br />2. That the Subject Property is zoned R-1 Residential (Rural Developing), and is approximately <br /> 6.2 acres (270,914 square feet) in size. <br /> <br />3. That the Subject Property is surrounded by R-1 Residential (Rural Developing) zoning with <br /> single family homes. <br /> <br />4. That Section 9.11.02 of the Ramsey City Code does not permit the construction of accessory <br /> structures closer to the front property line than the principal structure. <br /> <br />5. That the principal structure on the Subject Property is approximately 343 feet from the front <br /> property line. <br /> <br />6. That the Applicant is proposing to construct an accessory building that will be approximately <br /> 250 feet from the front property line. <br /> <br /> <br />
