WHEREAS, on November 7, 2002, the Ramsey Planning Commission conducted a public hearing regarding the proposed preliminary plat for Wildlife Sanctuary 3ra Addition and recommended City Council approval of same contingent upon compliance with the City Staff Review Letter dated November 1, 2002 and resolving the fencing of pasture land on the Weichelt and Mott parcels to the west of the Subject Property; and WHEREAS, the Ramsey Park and Recreation Commission reviewed the preliminary plat on November 14, 2002 and recommended a cash payment to satisfy park dedication requirements; the construction of an 8 foot wide bituminous trail between Lots 5 and 6 of Block 4, the construction cost of which would be credit eligible against trail development fees due on the Subject Property; and the continuance of the trail along the north side of Alpine Drive N.W.; and NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby grants preliminary plat approval to Wildlife Sanctuary 3rd Addition in accordance with relevant City Codes contingent upon compliance with the City Staff Review Letter dated November 1, 2002, revised November 21, 2002, and the letter from Oakwood Land Development to Milt Weichelt at 15407 Nowthen Blvd. N.W. and Dave Mott at 15425 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., dated November 12, 2002, regarding the installation of pasture fencing. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Anderson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec Councilmember Anderson Councilmember Hendriksen Councilmember Kurak Councilmember Zimmerman and the following voted against the same: None and the following abstained: None and the following were absent: None RESOLUTION #02-11-299 Page 2 of 3
