CONTRACTOR <br />TOTAL BID <br />North Valley, Inc. <br />$303,756.46 <br />Douglas -Kerr Underground, LLC <br />$335,706.40 <br />Asphalt Surface Technologies, Corp. <br />$336,595.45 <br />GMH Asphalt, Corp. <br />$352,597.43 <br />Omann Contracting Companies, Inc. <br />$353,300.16 <br />Midwest Asphalt Services <br />$377,017.00 <br />Hardrives, Inc. <br />$378,113.27 <br />Park Construction Company <br />$405,318.27 <br />Northwest Asphalt <br />$414,791.59 <br />Engineer 's Estimate <br />$363, 783.00 <br />WHEREAS, the bid of North Valley, Inc. of Nowthen, Minnesota, in the amount of <br />$303,756.46 for the total bid for construction of said improvements in accordance with the <br />approved plans and specifications and advertisement for bids, is the lowest responsible bidder <br />and their bid shall be and hereby is accepted; and <br />WHEREAS, benefiting properties are proposed to be assessed for all or a portion of the <br />cost of the improvements, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429, Chapter 8 of the City <br />Charter, and the City of Ramsey's adopted Special Assessments Policy. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract with said bidder for the construction of said improvements for and on behalf of <br />the City of Ramsey. <br />2) The City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders <br />the deposits made with their bids at such time that a contract has been executed. <br />RESOLUTION #18-059 <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />
