March 10, 2018 I Volume 12 I Issue 5 Zoning Bulletin <br />VIRGINIA <br />Pending in the State Legislature, House Bill 1258 and Senate Bill 405 would <br />require municipalities to automatically approve cell phone towers that meet <br />certain parameters. Reportedly, the bills would require automatic approval of <br />cell phone towers under 50 feet tall, and of communications equipment within <br />500 feet of an existing utility pole.
