3) 4) Request for Maintenance of Private Street The Public Works Committee recommended that the .private maintained by the Rum River Homeowners Association. street continue to be Update on Highway #47 hump south of 167th Avenue NW Staff reported that they had estimated the remOval of the hump on T.H. #47 to be between $130,000 to $150,000. The Committee suggested that perhaps some type of sign might be posted warning of the hazard. Staff suggested that funding for the removal be sought through the Federal Hazard Elimination Program. Staff will report back to the Committee on this matter. 5) Priority Streetlight at Intersection of 158th Avenue and Variolite The Public Works committee recommended that the streetlight at the intersection of 158th Avenue and Variolite be eliminated at the present, but that it be placed after all other priority light locations have been lit. Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman, seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen, to ratify the recommendations of the Public Works Committee. Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Hendriksen, Anderson, and Kurak. Voting No: None. Case #5: Report from the Personnel Committee The Personnel Committee met on December 10, 2002 to discuss the following cases: 1) Authorize Promotion of. Police Patrol Officer Thomas Lueck to the Position of Police Corporal The Personnel Committee recommended that the City Council adopt ResOlution #02-12~ 313 authorizing the promotion of Police Patrol Officer Thomas Lueckto the Position of full-time Police Corporal. Motion by Councilmember Anderson, seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen, to ratify the recommendation of the Personnel Committee. Motion carded. and Zimmerman.
