City Attorney Goodrich noted that the City will go through the same notification process they <br />have done in the past when the issue is placed back on the Council agenda. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec requested that any property owners not currently on the list to notify staff to make <br />sure they receive notification. <br /> <br />Todd Morfison, 34899 Helium Street, Princeton, Stated that he is currently trying to sell his <br />property along Highway #10 and he has had it sold four times but they have all bailed out <br />because of the moratorium. The problem he has is when his buyers call the City they are being <br />informed there is a moratorium. If he puts it on the market and sells it he does not have to <br />inform the buyer of a moratorium. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen replied that the Council could not give him legal advice. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec recommended that Mr. Morrison meet with staffto discuss his concerns. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated that nothing in the form of a moratorium has been adopted. <br /> <br />Ed Hamilton, 6615 Highway #10, Ramsey, stated that he lives in the affected area and knows <br />that there is an alternate route for the highway that MnDOT could consider that would make <br />more sense. He felt that the citizens should be informed of the alternate route. <br /> <br />Francis Welte presented written comments to staff. <br /> <br />Winslow Holasek, Andover Boulevard, Andover, stated that the Council may have removed the <br />possibility of passing the moratorium, but they have not removed the cloud of the moratorium. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec replied that it would be an issue for years. <br /> <br />Mr. Holasek stated that a lot of people came before them to express their opinion and now they <br />are saying theY will be considering it in the future.
