City Engineer Olson replied yes. <br /> <br />Kevin McGee, applicant, noted that they already have hard bids to complete the project as well <br />as all of the necessary permits. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec inquired if there were any timing concerns on delaying action. <br /> <br />Principal Planner Trudgeon replied that the Council has until November 6, 2002, to make a <br />decision. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec inquired if the developer would be able to provide all the details at the next <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Councilmember Anderson inquired as to how long their bids were good for. <br /> <br />Mr. McGee noted that they have started working on the development agreement. In regards to <br />the bids they are trying to hold them for 30 days. <br /> <br />Councilmember Anderson stated that she has concern with the 16-unit townhomes. <br /> <br />Mr. McGee replied that those units are not part of this plat. <br /> <br />Councilmember Anderson stated that her concern is that if'they build the smaller units there is no <br />room to straighten out the larger units. <br /> <br />Mr. McGee noted that they have acquired additional land since sketch plan. <br /> <br />Councilmember Anderson stated that the City does not allow for 16-unit buildings. She stated <br />that she would like to see what the overall plan is for the entire site before making any decisions. <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman stated that he would also like to see what they have proposed for <br />the entire area before they approve the plan. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen inquired if there was a consensus on the sewer issue as proposed by <br />the developer. <br /> <br />Consensus was yes. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen stated that he thought the density of the development needed to be <br />addressed. <br /> <br />Principal Planner Trudgeon explained that when the project was originally presented, the <br />developer did submit a sketch plan that included 16-unit buildings. The Planning Commission <br />did review the concept. The developer separated the development and now they are going <br /> <br /> City Council/October 8, 2002 <br /> Page 12 of 16 <br /> <br /> <br />
