BMP Summary Sheet <br />MS4 Name: City of Ramsey <br />Minimum Control Measure: 4-CONSTRUCTION SITE STORMWATER RUNOFF <br />CONTROL <br />Unique BMP Identification Number: 4d-1 <br />*BMP Title: Procedure for Site Plan Review <br />*BMP Description: <br />The City development approval process includes three (3) phases, Sketch Plan, Preliminary Plat and Final Plat for <br />subdivision of land. Site plans have 2 phases Preliminary Site plan and Final Site Plan. Staff reviews the plans at <br />each phase and provides a review letter to the development team. Sites over 1 acre also require a permit from the <br />Lower Rum River Water Management Organization (LRRWMO). The reviews from both agencies address erosion <br />control, temporary sedimentation basins and final stormwater ponding requirements. The city has established a <br />system of notices for construction site erosion control problems. The notices are provided to the contractor <br />specifying the work to be done and the timeframe to complete the work.
