Alternatives <br />Alternative 1: Adopt Resolution # 18-077 Approving an amendment to the 2020 MUSA Boundary to include the <br />subject property for the purposes of extending public utilities to the site. Staff supports this alternative. <br />Alternative 2: Do not adopt Resolution #18-077. Staff does not support this alternative. <br />Funding Source: <br />Costs associates with this application are the responsibility of the Applicant. <br />Recommendation: <br />Staff recommends adoption of Resolution # 18-077 approving an amendment to the 2020 Metropolitan Urban <br />Service Area (MUSA) boundary. This amendment is being required by the Metropolitan Council as part of the <br />Ramsey Elementary School 2nd Campus project. The City Council previously approved a resolution granting <br />submittal of a Comprehensive Plan Amendment to reguide the subject property from Low Density Residential to <br />Public/Quasi-Public.
