CC Regular Session 4. 9. <br />Meeting Date: 04/09/2018 <br />By: Colleen Lasher, Administrative <br />Services <br />Information <br />Title <br />Adopt Resolution #18-073 Appointing an Environmental Policy Board Member <br />Purpose/Background: <br />The purpose of this case is to appoint a new member to the Environmental Policy Board. <br />Staff conducted the annual boards and commissions' recruitment process for terms beginning April 1, 2018. <br />Interviews were conducted on March 20, 2018 and the City Council appointed new members on March 27, 2018. <br />Staff became aware of another term expiring on the Environmental Policy Board in 2018 that was not included in <br />the most recent round of recruitments. The term was incorrectly stated as expiring in 2019 when in fact the term <br />expires on March 31, 2018. Staff had a discussion with the commissioner whose term was expiring; due to time <br />restraints, she does not wish to be considered for reappointment. <br />At the March 20, 2018 work session discussion, the City Council's consensus was to temporarily offer Melissa <br />Fetterley other City volunteer activities until there was a future vacancy on the Environmental Policy Board, <br />Planning Commission or Park and Recreation Commission.
