The EDA expressed concern that a series of meetings were laid out with HKGi in December and <br />there have not been any meetings yet. <br /> <br />Associate Planner Wald stated it has been staff, not HKGi, that has wanted to be sure everything <br />is in order, which includes the feedback of the area residents. <br /> <br />There was considerable discussion regarding what point in the timeline of the master plan the <br />meeting with the residents should be held, and whether there should be a plan in place prior to <br />the meeting. <br /> <br />Member Gromberg noted the December EDA meeting included a discussion of the EDA's vision <br />in this area. <br /> <br />Member LeTourneau directed staffto supply the members of the EDA with a summary of the <br />December EDA meeting. <br /> <br />Associate Planner Wald indicated Staff would suggest hosting the public meeting in early June. <br /> <br />The consensus of the EDA was to schedule a special EDA meeting for May 24, 2004 at 7:30 <br />a.m. at City Hall, and to schedule the :pUblic meeting for June 16th at 6:30 p.m. in the Connexus <br />Community Room, with an alternate date of jUne 17th. <br /> <br />Member Steffen re~uested the members be supplied a summary of the December EDA meeting <br />prior to the May 24t~ meeting. <br /> <br />Member Letourneau requested the members receive the requested information on May 17th or <br />18th so it can be reviewed and determined if they will want additional information. <br /> <br />Case #5: Old Town Hall <br /> <br />Associate Planner Wald reported sites are still being considered for the relocation of the Old <br />Town I-Iall and it will be discussed at the June EDA meeting. <br /> <br />Case #6: Business Appreciation Day <br /> <br />Associate Planner Wald reported that the first committee meeting for Business Appreciation <br />Day, which will have a theme of the Hawaiian Open Golf Tournament, was held this afternoon. <br /> <br />Case #7: Staff Update: <br /> <br />The EDA reviewed the staff update. Associate Planner Wald reported staff met with Mr. Hanson <br />of Bakestar.
