Mayor Gamec and Councilmember Strommen. <br /> <br />Case #14: <br /> <br />Request for Preliminary Site Plan Review for RamseY Municipal Center <br />Case of City of Ramsey: <br /> <br />Assistant Community Development DireCtor Trudgeon reviewed that the City of Ramsey is <br />proposing to develop a 69,070 square foot Municipal Center consisting of a two story City Hall <br />and one-story Police Station. The Municipal Center is designed for an additional story On each <br />part of the building for an addifi0nali 10,700 square feet. In the spring of 2004, the City <br />Council authorized the creatiOn of schematic plans for a new Municipal Center. At this point, <br />the schematic design is completed. The Council reviewed the schematic plan during the <br />November 9, 2004 work session. At that meeting, the Council directed staff to bring forward <br />the preliminary site. plan for the new Munic-ipal Center to the planning Commission for review. <br />Prior to making a final decision on whether or not to build a new Municipal Center, the City <br />Council wanted the: site plan to go thrOugh)the approval process for two reasons: a) to make <br /> <br />: City COUnCil/December 14, 2004 <br /> · page29of33 <br /> <br />P51 <br /> <br /> <br />
