Our scope and fees were prepared based on our understanding of the project and our previous experience in delivering State Aid projects. SCOPE The improvements will be generally as described in our December 3, 2015 report for the Future Business Park. The phasing will be as generally described in our March 2017 Update Report. The improvements will consist of the following items as presented in the above reports and depicted on the attached figure: • Bunker Lake Boulevard construction will begin at the easterly limits of Phase 1A, with pavement and striping tapers to the east. • Bunker Lake Boulevard sanitary sewer and watermain trunk utilities are not included in this scope, as they are being completed by the City under a separate contract. • Puma Street construction will include the Phase 1B area only, with a taper transition north of Phase 1B. • No trail will be constructed along the east side of Puma Street at this time, avoiding the need for right of way acquisition from parcels along the east side of the roadway. • Puma Street utility construction will include extending sanitary sewer and watermain from Bunker Lake Boulevard to the northerly Phase 1B limits. A sanitary sewer lift station will be installed at the low area of Puma Street. • The Bunker Lake Boulevard and Puma Street intersection will most likely be constructed as a Tee intersection, with the third leg being an access to the property to the west. • A site plan is being developed for the property west of Puma Street. We have assumed we will receive AutoCAD files of the site plan for incorporation into our design. Construction costs associated with the improvements described above are estimated at approximately $2,500,000, which includes a 10 percent contingency. Bolton & Menk is an equal opportunity employer.
