Associate Planner Geisler indicated that-they have received verbal comments from Anoka <br />County, who has no problems with this repdrt. She stated Staff is recommending approval. <br /> <br />Commission Input <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt asked if the applicant had any iSsues with the City Staff Review Letter. <br /> <br />Greg Peterson, Oakwood Land DeVelopmer/t, stated he did not. <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt asked if there was any Problem with density that would be created by adding <br />these two lots. <br /> <br />Associate Planner Geisler stated there does not appear to be any problems, but Staff will double <br />check. <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt suggested the developer increase the plantings and landscaping for transition. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Johnson, seconded by Commissioner Van Scoy to approve the <br />proposed sketch plan of Alpine Woods 2nd ;Addition contingent upon compliance with the City <br />Staff Review Letter dated December 30, 2004~ <br /> <br />Motion carried. Absent: None. <br /> <br />Case #9 <br /> <br />Request for an Interim Use ipermit to Allow for a Temporary Modular Office <br />Structure; Case of City of Ramsey Public Works Department <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Community Development Director Trudgeon advised that the Ramsey Public Works Department <br />has submitted an application for an Interim :Use Permit to place a temporary modular office <br />structure on the same parcel as their existing facility. He stated the Public Works Department is <br />in need of more inside storage and therefore plans to convert the existing office space into <br />additional storage and relocate those offices into the temporary modular office structure. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Trudgeon noted that due to the proposed location of the <br />structure, the access to the site off of Jaspg :Street will be closed. He stated this area will be <br />converted into green space with tuff and other landscaping. He indicated that new curbing will <br />be installed along Jaspar Street to facilitate ithe' closing of this access. He advised that primary <br />access to the site will now be from 142ad Ave. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Trudgeon istated the Public Works Department is proposing <br />to remove the temporary modular :office s ~tructure once a new office building is constructed, <br />however, that timeframe is not known at this pointl He added that the maximum duration of an <br /> <br />Planning CommiSsion/January 6, 2005 <br /> Page 19 of 21 <br /> <br /> <br />
