83 <br />Transportation Strategies and Actions <br />This Plan, and the city's actions over the next 20 years, will be guided by the following <br />transportation goals, objectives, and strategies. <br />Strategies and Actions <br />Table 7 below displays the goals and of the Ramsey Transportation Plan. These goals represent the <br />city's overall vision for transportation over the next 20 years. Coordinate with MnDOT and Anoka County to proactively <br />address freight safety. <br />3.1. Coordinate transportation system investments with the City of <br />Ramsey Land Use Plan. <br />3.2. Connect land use districts and provide safe access to major <br />activity areas. <br />3.3. Design, construct, and maintain roadways that fit the character <br />of the adjacent land use (rural vs. urban development areas) . <br />3.4. Require private residential streets be designed to city standards. <br />4.1. Implement safety improvements to address high crash locations. <br />4.2.
