Councilmember Riley stated that the Public Works Committee has not discussed these streets and asked if there has been thought as to whether the roads need to be redesigned. City Engineer Westby replied that there are not a lot of options for realignment of roads in that area and the intent would be to reconstruct as-is. He stated that if discussions arise with the property owners through this process, that realignment could become an option. Councilmember Riley asked if this is the right time to complete a Feasibility Report. City Engineer Westby stated that the Feasibility Report is the opportunity for staff to delve in deeper to the details and he could incorporate that further direction to explore additional options. Mayor Strommen confirmed that the additional direction should be included with the Feasibility Report. Motion by Councilmember Johns, seconded by Councilmember Williams, to Adopt Resolution #17-070170 Ordering Feasibility Report for Improvement Project #18-02 Hy-10 Ramsey Street Reconstructions and direct staff to investigate additional alternatives. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Strommen, Councilmembers Johns, Williams, Kuzma, LeTourneau, Riley, and Shryock. Voting No: None. 8. MAYOR, COUNCIL AND STAFF INPUT City Administrator Ulrich announced upcoming meetings and events. Councilmember Shryock thanked staff for their work on the first annual art fair which was held at Elmcrest Park this past weekend. She stated that a fun time was had by all with guests from all over the metro. 9. ADJOURNMENT Motion by Councilmember Williams, seconded by Councilmember Johns, to adjourn the meeting.
