Staff <br />has a couple ideas for themes for this year's event, Mexican Style or Mardi Gras. Staff has some <br />reservations with the Mardi Gras theme, however there are a lot of fun decorations and ideas for <br />Mardi Gras that could spark another great eVent. Staff is. in the process of researching Mardi <br />Gras and Mexican history and related activities tO incorporate into the City's golf/dinner event. If <br />the EDA has any ideas or opinion On the theme of the business event staff would appreciate such <br />feedback. <br /> <br />Wells Catering has provided two quotes for dinner options. One option would be, a Mexican taco <br />bar at 15.95 per plate. The second oPtion :is a ~teak and shrimp menu for 17.29 per plate. The <br />price tbr the event last year was $90.00 per person. Staff would like to discuss with the EDA the <br />need to raise the price this year. The Anok~a Area Chamber is at $95.00 per person, staff would <br />suggest that the 2005 Ramsey event be raised to $95.00 per person, which 'is a $5.00 increase. <br /> <br />Future Meeting Topics: 1. 2005 Workplan (March) <br /> 2.
