Chairperson Johns explained that this particular piece was for subdividing this into one other <br />unit. <br /> <br />City Civil Engineer II Linton stated this was true. <br /> <br />Commissioner Shyrock asked what the third'diagram was extending the cul-de-sac. <br /> <br />City.Civil Engineer 17I Linton stated this was 'the ultimate build out plan in the eventuality that <br />sewer was extended up there. He stated this went to the Planning Commission and this will be a <br />private drive with two lots on the end of it. They are coming across the neighbors' property'on <br />an existing easement. <br /> <br />Assistant Public Works Director Brian Olson explained that based on the Commissions <br />recommendation if they would like the staff to reinitiate negotiations for the trail easement for <br />the Trott Brook then staff will do that, the owners could always say no. 'Staff could also ask the <br />'owner to dedicate a corridor and work with the City on that. <br /> <br />Chairperson Johns noted in looking at the bigger map, there will be a connection with 47 and <br />somehow get over to Rum River Central. She thought cash dedication would be better but she <br />did not know what the likelihood of future development on those pieces Would be. <br /> <br />Commissioner ShrYock'asked if they would want to consider Trott Brook connections. <br /> <br />Chairperson Johns asked if the straight piece .is an existing road.' <br /> <br />City Civil Engineer II Linton stated it was not: <br /> <br />Commissioner Lehman expressed that he did not think they would want' to run up the river. <br /> <br />Commissioner Shryock noted the trail that is Proposed does not affect that property. She <br />wondered if they would want to consider discussing the trail with them since their land is up for <br />development, it might be a good idea to do this. <br /> <br />Assistant Public Works Director Olson asked if the Trott Brook Corridor be preserved for trail <br />purposes. <br /> <br />Chairperson Johns explained it is part of that but they are also trying to get to the Rum River. <br />She stated they still have opportunities to develop the trail in the future. <br /> <br />Chairperson Johns asked if the proposed park was part of the parcel. <br /> <br />City Civil Engineer H Linton stated it was. <br /> <br />Chairperson Johns stated in the Rogers Lake District, there-are not many parks. She stated She <br />knows they have had some requests that Ford Brook needed some improvements.
