Mr. Feges indicated they will be compatible, but that does not mean monochromatic. <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt asked that they work with the other developers on color palette so there are not <br />defining lines from one builder to another. : <br /> <br />Mr. Feges stated he believes they will see on the outer edges that the units are more residential <br />looking with gable roofs, but as you get closer to the core you will see more flat roofs and urban <br />designs. He suggested they have a workshop in the next 60 days to discuss design concepts, etc. <br /> <br />Motion by CommiSsioner Johnson, seconded bY Commissioner Watson, to approve the sketch <br />plan of Ramsey Town Center 7th AdditiOn contingent upon compliance with the City Staff <br />Review Letter dated January 27, 2005. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Commissioner Johnson noted he would add the comments provided.by <br />Chairperson Nixt; that a clear method be determined on how you can move peOple on sidewalks <br />and trails to the downtown area without those people having to be in driveways. <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt indicated his final thought. would be that as they look at ways to lay out the <br />preliminary plat he would like to see an interconnection within the development that he does not <br />see now. He stated he will support it now, but if he does not see that interconnection as it moves <br />forward he will not support it. He indicated it maY even be a foot corridor that is only seasonably <br />accessible, but something is needed. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners Johnson, Watson, Shepherd, <br />and Van Scoy. Voting No: None. Absent: :Commissioner Brauer. <br /> <br />Case//6 <br /> <br />Request for Sketch plan Review of Ramsey Town Center 8th Addition; Case <br />of Ramsey Town Center, LLC <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Associate Planner Geisler stated that Ramsey Town Center LLC has submitted a sketch plan to <br />develop 76 townhomes and 113 Single-family lots on 46 acres contained in oUtlots A - E of <br />Ramsey Town Center Addition. She indicated the proposed development is located north of <br />Bunker Lake Boulevard and east of ArmstrOng Boulevard. <br /> <br />Associate Planner Geisler stated the subject property is currently zoned Town Center 4a <br />Neighborhood District. She indicated the. TC-4a District allows for residential uses at a net <br />density of up to 10 units per acre. She advised the sketch plan shows a gross density of 4.1 units <br />per acre. She noted the ComprehensiVe Plan shows the subject property as Low:Density <br />Residential and Medium-DensitylResidentiaI, while the remainder of the Town Center site is <br />designated as Mixed Use.
