The final site plan also show a trellis system along the garage faqadet for th~ growing of ivy. Staff supports this design addition and believes it will beiadd to the_appeal of the overall building design. 6. Further information should be: provided aboUt the composition of exterior materials that will · house the mechanical equipment located on the roOf. Final Plat Submittal: The mechanica( equiPment located on the roof will be enclosed in a structure consisting ;of metal louvered panels. The material and color will be the same as the roof structure. Staff believes that as long as the material and color are consistent with the roof structure, the structure as shown is acc~. ~table. Waste Storage: City Code requires that all Solid waste and refuse receptacles be stored within a completely screened structure or container. The site plan shows a screened trash enclosure located' in the northeast portion of the Site. As previously mentioned, the waste storage area should be completely screened on all four sides, Please verify that trUcks can access the dumpster area to empty the container. Lighting: Staff has receiwed information regarding -the proposed light fixtures. Once review is completed, Staff will inform the Atchltect °n Whether they are acceptable. Parking: The final site plan shows 4!: public parking stalls and 27 stalls for the Police Department and City vehicles for a total of 68 stalls, iUnd~r the~ T°wn Center Zoning District regulations, a maximum total of 187 stalls parking spaces are ~.¢quired. The Town Center Zoning District and the Town Center Development Guidelines strongly encourage shared parking scenarios and the utilization of parking ramps where possible. Fortunately, the City parking ramp will be adjacent to the Ramsey Municipal Center. The parking ramp!will accommodate'. Parking space for approximately 800 vehicles. The remaining need for parking Spaces at the ~s~y Municipal Center will be accommodated at the City parking ramp. It should be noted that most City ~mPloyees will utilize the parking ramp for daily parking. The parking stalls i south of the main i:ntrance to not meet the city minimums of 9 foot wide stalls and 24 foot wide aisles. The plan should be changed to reflect the proper dimensions.
