As has been suggested and approved fOr the contracts with the architectural and construction management firms, the Public Facilities Construction Fund has been the funding source for design services for the Municipal Center project. Staff is recommending utilizing this fund for the costs associated with the LOGIS, SecuriCO Inc., ?SC Alliance Inc., and the commissioning agent contracts. Council will have the option to refund the Public Facilities Construction Fund for the costs associated with the design of the Municipal Center when the bonds are issued for the project. Staff Recommendation: Authorize contracts for the folloWing Municipal Center design services: ~ LOGIS for technology design services in an amount not to exceed $6,000.00 ~,-SecuriCo Inc. for security design Services in an amount not to exceed $20,000.00 ~ PSC Alliance Inc. fOr radio frequency design services in an amount not to exceed $8,500.00 ~- Comlnissioning Agent services based upon work session discussion and staff/construction manager recommendation Authorize the use of the public Facilities Construction Fund for these contracts.
