CASE # <br /> <br /> CONSIDER ADOPTION OF PARKING IMPROVEMENT <br /> USE AND MAINTENANCE AG~EMENT FOR RAMSEY TOWN CENTER <br /> By: James E, NOrman, City Administrator <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />City staff and the City Attorney have been working with Jim Lasher of LSA to complete the <br />Parking Improvement Use and Maintenan, ce Agreement with Ramsey Town Center LLC. The <br />Parking Improvement:Use and Maintenartce Agreement has been created to ensure that the <br />City's investment in the two parking:ramps:within the Core Parking District have an identifiable <br />source of funds for long term OPerations }and Maintenance and a defined method to collect and <br />disburse funds for these activities. The Parking:Improvement Use and Maintenance Agreement <br />relies on the development of a Parking Plan:required trader the terms of Town Center Zoning <br />Ordinance to allocate Parking stalls Within the two parking ramps the City is constructing among <br />parcels within a "Parking District" that is~ defined in the Agreement. It is anticipated that the <br />City will be required :to amend the Parking Plan in connection with each new development <br />within the "Parking District" to refine th~'alloCation of parking stalls to conform with actual <br />development.
