Councilmember Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #19-054 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ABATEMENT OF <br />CODE ENFORCEMENT VIOLATIONS AT <br />6588 141ST AVENUE NORTHWEST <br />WHEREAS, there are multiple code violations on the property generally known as 6588 <br />141st Avenue Northwest and legally described as follows: <br />Lot 2, Block 2 Gateway North Industrial Park Plat 2, Anoka County, Minnesota <br />(the "Subject Property") (PID: 34-32-25-11-0022) <br />WHEREAS, the violations on the Subject Property include the following: <br />a. Violations of City Code Section 117-356 <br />b. Violations of City Code Chapter 30, Public Nuisances <br />WHEREAS, Staff has performed inspections on: <br />a. October 18, 2018 <br />b. October 21, 2018 <br />c. December 14, 2018 <br />d. December 20, 2018 <br />e. February 5, 2019; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey sent notices on February 13, 2018, October 18, 2018, <br />December 14, 2018, December 28, 2018, and February 6, 2019; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey granted an administrative extension of cleanup through <br />February 1, 2019; and <br />WHEREAS, the site has not adequately addressed the ongoing code violations; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff believes the problem has been ongoing for many years according to <br />aerial photos from Anoka County and neighbor complaints; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has an abatement contractor(s) who will perform the work and 125% <br />of the cost will be assessed back to the property owner; and <br />WHEREAS, Exhibit A shows historical aerial photos and Exhibit B shows the current site; <br />and <br />
