WHEREAS, the City Council approved abatement of the code violations on this 12,' of <br />February, 2019. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council approves the following related to the code enforcement case: <br />That the City of Ramsey will contact its abatement contractor(s) to schedule an <br />abatement as soon as the contractors are able after February 18, 2019. <br />b. That the property will be assessed 125% of the cost of the abatement. <br />c. That the items to be removed include: <br />i. Any vehicle parked on grass area east of building (including large NTI trailer <br />parked in grass area) <br />ii. Any vehicle parked on adjacent street right-of-way, including semi -trucks, <br />trucks, and trailers full of items <br />iii. Any public nuisance items regulated under Chapter 30, including barrels, <br />garbage <br />d. That both the tenant (Northern Technologies Inc) and Shannen Enterprises will be sent <br />a letter informing them that the City is scheduling an abatement and a letter indicating <br />the final scheduled date. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Kuzma, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor LeTourneau <br />Councilmember Riley <br />Councilmember Kuzma <br />Councilmember Heinrich <br />Councilmember Musgrove <br />Councilmember Shryock <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />RESOLUTION #19-054 <br />Page 2 of 7 <br />
