In practice, it is not getting us desired <br />outcomes. <br /> <br />· Public meeting logistics have increased, <br /> resulting in greater demand for use of facilities. <br /> <br />(2) Conclusions: <br /> <br />The'following conclusions were made by the <br />management team as a result of this assessment: <br /> <br />· Shared perspective has emerged between <br /> council and management team. <br /> <br />· Both council and management team seem to be <br /> "playing" their appropriate roles. <br /> <br />· Trust and cooperative working relationships are <br /> in place with council and the management team. <br /> <br />Everyone has a positive perspective. <br /> <br />· Hurnoris present. <br /> <br />· Mutual respect between each other and in the <br /> community. <br /> <br />· We are on track and making progress. <br /> <br />· We are maturing strategically. <br /> <br /> Update of Strategic Focus Areas Listing and. Identification of Immediate <br /> <br />· (2005-2006) Major Challenges the City Must Address, Master, mxd <br /> Resolve. <br /> <br />The participants, working in two teams, initially reviewed the Strategic <br />Focus Areas list developed during the 2004 City Leadership Workshop. <br />Each team then reported back its conclusions as to what <br />updates/modifications might be recommended to the Strategic Focus <br />Areas listing to ensure it reflects the council's and management team's <br />current thi~tking. Similarly, the two teams then identified a list of <br />immediate (2005-2006) major challenges the city must address, master,. <br />and resolve.
