This tanker is located in Station #1 in the west portion of the city and will be 28 years old at time of replacement. The Fire Department
attempts to keep tankers on a 25-year replacement cycle for the purpose of maintaining a reliable piece of equipment, limiting repair cost and providing new technology that benefits the
firefighters in the form of efficiency and safety. Maintenance costs for this vehicle will begin to increase more rapidly with age. The fire department also benefits from modern equipment by
attracting perspective firefighter applicants from Ramsey and the surrounding communities. The cost of the project includes replacement of equipment on the vehicle ensuring that equipment is
replaced periodically.
Expen ditures
2019 2020 2021 2022 2023 2024 2025 2026 2027 2028 Total
Fumishings/Equipment
213,000 213,000
Total
213,000 213,000
Funding Sources 2019 2020 2021 2022 2023 2024 2025 2026 2027 2028 Total
Equipment Revolving Fund 213,000 213,000
Total
213,000 213,000
59
