Over 90% of its housing supply consists of the typical <br />suburban detached single family home. The remaining housing units consist of <br />roughly 90 mobile home units located in a mobile home park north of Highway 10 <br />between Sunfish Lake Boulevard and Ramsey Boulevard and one 32-unit <br />apartment building. Oddly enough, the one apartment building within Ramsey's <br />corporate boundary is often mistaken to be in Anoka, since it shares a border with <br />Anoka on the south side of Industry Boulevard east of TH 47. Average rents at <br />this apartment complex range from a low of $560 for a one-bedroom apartment to <br />$695 for a two-bedroom unit4. Given the lack of apartment housing in Ramsey <br />and the affordability of the rent range, this apartment probably has little problem <br />keeping full. <br /> <br />Recent development, however, is increasing the variety of housing offered to the <br />community. A new townhome project (one of two in the community) of roughly <br />40 units located on the northeast quadrant of Sunfish Lake Boulevard and Industry <br />Boulevard is currently under construction.
