AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 8.30 "'sEWAGE DISPOSAL SYSTEMS" OF CHAPTER 8 OF THE CITY CODE OF RAIMsEY, MINNESOTA. , The City of Ramsey ordains: SECTION 1. AMENDMENT Subsection 8.30.02 (Administration)Shall :be amended to include the following language: 8.30.02A Maintenance . Required Frequency Of Pumping/Cleaning and Inspection. Each owner of property containing 'an Individual Sewage Treatment System (ISTS) shall cause said system to be pumped/cleaned or inspected as provided herein at intervals not to exceed every three years or upon receipt of an inspection report indicating an immediate need for pumping/clearfing. With.in thirty (30 days) after pumping a system, the septic tank pumper shall file a Pumping Report, upon forms supplied by the City, on each system serviced' and provide all the applicable details requested, including information about any deficiencies or needed maintenance. These forms .'shall become part of the permanent City records. The initial pumping report shall be filed at the City no later than October 31, 2003. A receipt issued by the pumper for a pumping job performed within a 12 month per/od previous to the effective date of this ordinance shall suffice as the irtitial pumping report. Notification Process. ThroUgh individual mailed notice, the City shall notify owners of property containing an ISTS once every three (5) years that they are required to pump/clean their ISTS or have the ISTS inspected as provided herein. WaiVer of Pumping Requirement. In the event that compliance with the minimum standards of Chapter 7080 are ver/fied by a licensed Minnesota Pollution Control Agency Septic Inspector and a Maintenance Inspection Report. is filed with the City on 'forms supplied by the City and after review by the City Building Official that the findings of the inspection are
