Comments are generally paraphrased below with <br />responses provided. <br />USACE <br />Comment 1: USACE indicated that Department of the Army permit may be required for proposed <br />activities within the AUAR Update area. <br />Response: The City of Ramsey received an Approved Jurisdictional Determination <br />from the USACE (Project No. 03 - 03448 — TJF) that indicated no Waters of the US <br />existed within the AUAR study area. <br />MnDOT <br />Comment 1: MnDOT indicated that any work performed within MnDOT right-of-way would require <br />a permit. <br />SHPO <br />Comment 1: <br />Response: A MnDOT right-of-way permit was added to the table in Item 8. <br />There are no properties listed in the National or State Registers of Historic Places, <br />and no known or suspected archaeological properties in the area covered by the <br />AUAR. <br />Response: Comment noted. <br />Comment 2: Any project receiving federal assistance or requiring a federal permit will require <br />review under Section 106 and should be submitted to SHPO's office. <br />Response: Section 106 coordination was added to the table in Item 8. <br />K:\011954-000\Admin\Docs\Distribution for Final Adoption\011954-000 MEMO - Comment Responses - 011519.docx <br />
