Chris Anderson
From: Todd Rapp <todd@strlawyer.com>
Sent: Thursday, February 07, 2019 3:25 PM
To: Chris Anderson
Cc: Tim Gladhill; Chloe McGuire Brigl; Troy Halverson
Subject: Subject: Regency Commons Plat and Site Plan
Mr. Anderson:
I write on behalf of National Self -Storage, LLC and Troy Halverson as their legal counsel, and acknowledge and
appreciate your email to Troy sent yesterday, February 6, 2019, at 4:43 p.m. Troy forwarded your email to me this
morning.
Confirming our telephone discussion earlier this afternoon, please accept this email correspondence as a written
request on behalf of my clients for a one (1) year extension of the approvals previously given by the City of Ramsey for
the final plat of Regency Commons and its accompanying Site Plan Approval. As I explained to you, National Self -
Storage has, over the past 9 months, entered into two separate purchase agreements to sell and convey the property
and the project to third parties. The most recent such purchase agreement remains executory, with the buyers
thereunder continuing to possess an equitable interest in the underlying real property. We are presently planning for a
February 28, 2019 closing on this pending sale. Meanwhile, we believe it important to maintain the status quo for
National Self -Storage, LLC (in the event the sale does not close), and for the prospective buyers (if it does so close) with
regard to the approved development. Extending outstanding approvals from the City of Ramsey will, we believe, be in
everyone's best interests, including Ramsey's.
Thank you very much for contacting Mr. Halverson, and thanks to you and the Council for affording continuing
cooperation and courtesies with respect to this pending development project. Please don't hesitate to contact me
should you have any further questions.
For National Self -Storage, LLC:
Todd Rapp
S Todd Rapp, PA
P.O.
