A pave- <br />ment management program also uses actual condi- <br />tion data to estimate the best time to complete main- <br />What Makes a Successful PMP? <br />• <br />• Pavement evaluation and asset management <br />that’s data driven <br />• Routine maintenance program including crack <br />sealing and seal coating <br />• Overlay program <br />• Reconstruction/reclamation program <br />• Stable funding <br />• Goal is a 60-year reconstruction schedule for new <br />streets <br />Current Problem <br />Most of Ramsey’s roads were constructed in the <br />1980s and 90s and are in need of major mainte- <br />nance or reconstruction. Since that time, construc- <br />tion standards have changed dramatically.
