Commissioner Ostrum thought they could publish which district they would be working on for <br /> public input. <br /> Park/Utilities Supervisor Riverblood agreed with the Commission and thought they should <br /> discuss these by district. Another step would be to schedule a joint meeting with the Planning <br /> Commission to discuss the general planning concepts. <br /> Chairperson Johns thought this was a good idea. <br /> Commissioner Shryock thought as they head into the individual districts and parks, they should <br /> look at accessible pathways that get them everywhere. She thought this would be beneficial to <br /> everyone. <br /> Parks/Utilities Supervisor Riverblood stated that was an excellent suggestion and it is their <br /> objective to obtain accessibility to every amenity in the park. <br /> Commissioner LaMere thought Parks/Utilities Supervisor Riverblood did a good job of keeping <br /> trails in mind when planning a park. <br /> Commissioner Ostrum stated he would like to see districts based on where they are-at in the CIP <br /> plan. <br /> COMMISSION/STAFF INPUT <br /> Note: Armstrong Boulevard Trail—Alpine to Central Park—Citizen Email <br /> It was noted an email came in and was circulated through the City Council regarding the trail <br /> along Armstrong Boulevard. <br /> Central Park Upgrade (seating and bathroom) <br /> There was no discussion regarding this item. <br /> Master Trail Plan <br /> There was no discussion regarding this item. <br /> Commissioner Ostrum wondered how soon they would want to start discussion on the different <br /> districts. <br /> Chairperson Johns thought they would want to start right away. <br /> It was noted the next meeting will be November 18th at 6:30 p.m. because of Veterans Day. <br /> Park and Recreation Commission/October 14,2004 <br /> Page 5 of 6 <br />
