Councilmember Kuzma introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #19-165 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #18-09, COR INFILTRATION BASIN IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution 918-056, adopted March 27, 2018, a Feasibility Report was prepared by the City Engineer with reference to construction of stormwater infiltration basins, a storm water lift station and other appurtenant work; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution 918-072, adopted April 9, 2018, the City Council approved the Feasibility Report, and ordered the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvements; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution 919-093, adopted April 23, 2019, the City has acquired title to Part of Outlot A, Ramsey Town Center 131h Addition to be used in the infiltration basins; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution 919-115, adopted May 14, 2019, the City Council accepted final plans and specifications and authorized advertisements for bids for said improvements; and WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Anoka Union Herald and in Finance and Commerce on May 17 and May 24, 2019; and WHEREAS, bids were received, opened, and tabulated on June 7, 2019, and the following bids were found to comply with the advertisement for bids; and Contractor TOTAL BID Northern Lines Contracting, Inc. $607,136.11 Rachel Contracting $772,253.65 US Site Work $776,828.41 Douglas -Kerr Underground, LLC $889,608.20 Meyer Contracting, Inc. $969,343.03 Engineers Estimate $993,935.20 WHEREAS, the bid of Northern Lines Contracting, Inc. of Bloomington, Minnesota, in the amount of $607,136.11 for the total bid for construction of the improvements in accordance with the approved plans and specifications and advertisement for bids, is the lowest responsible bidder and their bid shall be and hereby is accepted; and
