Name:
Address:
Phone:

Michael Ellis
7001 166th Ave NW

General Comments:
I'm trying to understand how the:selection was done as to who got notice to come to the information
meeting. My property borders Oakwood's new development. I have great concerns about City
water and sewer.
If Oakwood would subidivide the parcel into 2.5 acre lots as it is zoned, we would not even be
having these petition meetings. I feel .the. c!ty is selling us out to get the revenue out of 1/3 acre lots
without at least a buffer zone. N° one I have talked with has any problem if developed as 2.5 acre
lots. If it stays zoned as 2.5 acre lots, we do not n~ed water and sewer. The lots can sustain itself.
Don't get me wrong. I would love to have City water. Water from well really hard. (price of living
in country). We're willing to tolerate our hard water to keep the country environment We have
learned to love. -
Totally confused if allowed to stay on well andlseptic tank, or if we are forced to hook up to water
and sewer within 2 years of installation..(no one at meeting Monday seemed to know either). Also
trying to get answers about if we .sell our prOperty in 5-10 years do we have to escrow $17,000 to
new owners? Really unclear of all the contradictions!
