Councilmember McGlone stated he wanted to pave Puma and there needed to be an additional <br />access. He indicated the long cul -de -sac was unacceptable for safety reasons. <br />Councilmember Wise stated he did not want to improve Puma. <br />Councilmember Dehen believed Puma needed to be put in. <br />Councilmember Look stated he was in favor of extending Puma in Phase II but Phase I did not <br />make sense at this point. <br />Councilmember Elvig stated he was concerned about precedent setting. He stated he wanted the <br />project done right the first time. He stated he liked the project and when costs were shaved too <br />far, the project would be hurt. He stated he was in favor of extending Puma. <br />Councilmember Jeffrey believed Puma needed to be put in. <br />Mayor Ramsey believed Puma also needed to be done, but he had a concern that a future <br />development to the north could be affected by this decision. <br />It was Council's consensus on not taking any more land and have an access on Puma. <br />4.01: Consider the Purchase of the Right of Access Being the Right of Ingress to Egress <br />from the Following Described Parcels to Trunk Highway 47: Outlot A, B, and C, <br />River's Bend Third Addition, Lot 1, Block 1, Holiday Acres and Lot 1, Block 1, <br />Ramsey Office Park (Portions of this discussion will be closed to the Public) <br />City Attorney Goodrich reviewed the staff report. <br />City Attorney Goodrich noted that this meeting can move into closed session to discuss the . <br />purchase of real estate interests, which was allowed under the State Statute. <br />Motion by Councilmember Look, seconded by Councilmember Wise, to move to closed session. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey and Councilmembers Look, Wise, Dehen, Elvig, <br />Jeffrey, and McGlone. Voting No: None. Absent: None. <br />The Special Council meeting moved into a closed session at 6:10 p.m. <br />The meeting was opened up to the public at 6:21 p.m. <br />5.
