The position was adv~i'tised and appr6ximately 17 applications were received; <br />thirteen applicants were interviewed. ~ <br /> <br />At the January 25, 2005 City C~ouneil meeting'-gtaffreceived authorization to hire an <br />Assistant Finance Officer at an hourlY wage ,not to exceed $32.31-$33.71/hour plus <br />benefits and three weeks ofvagation annhally: <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff is recommending that th~ personnei Committee ratify the hiring of Sandra Carlson <br />as the Assistant Finance OfficO? at an ho~lY W.age of $ 30.90. Ms. Carlson will begin <br />full-time employmeni on Mardh 28; 200;.5. <br /> <br />This appointment is contingent upon successful completion of criminal and driver's <br />license background checks, refdrence ch~ks, agd passing a pre-employment physical and <br />drug screen. With Council approval, Ms. Carlson's official start date will be March 28, <br />2005. <br /> <br />Committee Action: <br /> <br />Motion recommending that the DersonnOl committee ratify the hiring of Sandra Carlson <br />as Assistant Finance Officer at,an hourly, Wage :of $30.90.
