Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced!the following resolution and moved for its adoption..' <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION # <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACcEpTING THE RESIGNATION/RETIREMENT OF A <br /> POLICE INVESTIGATOR AND :.huTHORIZING STAFF TO BEGIN THE <br /> RECRUITMENT PROCEsS FOR fii~D HIRE A PATROL OFFICER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, James Balabon wasihired Os a full-time, regular Patrol Officer on <br />June 1, 1981 and was assigned the position of P01ice Investigator in 1995; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Jame.s~Balabon!has submitted a letter resigning/retiring from his <br />position effective June 30, 2005; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE ITiRESOLVED By THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKJk COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City Council ofithe City 9f Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br /> Personnel Committee t° accept James Balabon's resignation/retirement from the <br /> position of Police InveStigatOr; <br /> <br />2) That the effective date of Mr. Balabon'.s~ resignation/retirement will be June 30, <br /> 2005; <br /> <br />3) That staff is authorized '.to begin the recruitment process and to hire a Patrol <br /> Officer to replace the vaCancY within the Police Department with ratification <br /> occurring at a regular COunCil meeting following the completion of the <br /> recruitment and selection Process <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember , and upon~vOte bein~ taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: · <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution w~ declared duly Passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 22''a day of Match 2005.1 <br /> <br /> <br />
