Tracking Financial Awards/Suballocations <br />As mentioned above, cities receiving financial assistance for housing and urban <br />development have responsibilities to further affordable housing. Those responsibilities <br />also apply to any organizations or institutions that are suballocated those funds. Cities that <br />are not entitlement jurisdictions often can still access federal housing funds through <br />counties, with affirmatively furthering obligations for cities spelled out in grant <br />agreements.
