and community development decision making."30 While not required by the Metropolitan <br />Council, all cities, regardless of funding, are encouraged to integrate the recommendations <br />found in the ARAI into their Comprehensive Plans in order to solidify the commitment to <br />addressing fair housing implications in future community development. <br />Cities are encouraged to create a Fair Housing Action Plan to address the <br />impediments and recommended steps in the most recent Analysis of Fair Housing or <br />Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice. The plan will outline the impediments <br />that were identified for the city, which impediments were going to be addressed and during <br />which time period, and how those impediments would be addressed.
